Privacy Policy

The short version: You own everything you create. We don't sell your data, we don't watermark your exports, and your videos are never used to train AI models. Your .edu email is used only to verify student status.

1. Who we are

ReelBot is a browser-based video editing product operated by BizBotTech, Inc. ("BizBotTech", "we", "us"). Our full privacy policy governing all BizBotTech products is available at bizbottech.com/privacy. This page contains ReelBot-specific addenda and clarifications.

2. Your content

You own 100% of all content you upload, create, or export using ReelBot. This includes:

All video footage you upload
Edited project files and timelines
Exported videos in any format
AI-generated captions, shot lists, and scripts created using our tools

BizBotTech claims no ownership, license, or right to use your content for any purpose other than providing the ReelBot service to you.

3. Video file storage

Video files you upload are stored in Vercel Blob storage, a secure cloud storage service. Your files are:

Private by default — only accessible to your account
Never shared with third parties
Never sold or licensed to any party
Never analyzed, processed, or viewed by BizBotTech staff except as required to resolve a support issue you initiate

4. Exported videos

When you export a video from ReelBot, the final video file is downloaded directly to your device. Exported videos are not stored on BizBotTech servers after download. Your source files remain in your project storage per your plan quota.

5. Student (.edu) email data

If you sign up with a .edu email address to access Student pricing:

Your .edu email is used solely to verify eligibility for Student pricing
It is never shared with your university, college, or any third party
It is never sold or used for marketing by third parties
It is stored securely and treated the same as any other account email

6. AI-generated content

When you use ReelBot's AI features (auto-captions, Script AI, music matching):

Your inputs and the AI outputs are not used to train any AI or machine learning models
AI-generated content is processed in real time and not retained after your session unless you explicitly save it to a project
We use third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) under data processing agreements that prohibit training on your data

7. Cookies and analytics

ReelBot uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand feature usage and improve the product. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We do not sell behavioral data to ad networks.

8. Data retention and deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@bizbottech.com. Upon account deletion, all your project files, video uploads, and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law.

ReelBot is a software product of BizBotTech, Inc. This privacy policy supplements the BizBotTech master privacy policy. In the event of conflict, the master policy governs.
